Nookie Amp White Water Spray Deck

The Nookie Amp Spray Deck is made in Nookie's Cornish factory using the toughest 4mm Armortex® neoprene with hand painted latex underside.

The have been re-patterned in 2023 to fit the latest kayak designs and extensively tested worldwide.

The UK made spraydeck is 2IC to the top of the range Kevlar® PRO deck. Using the same updated pattern template, with hand painted thick coating of natural latex to protect and GRIP on the underside, locked in place with the high specification powerful 10mm shockcord creating a water-tight seal. The Amp is a little easier to fit than than the *Kevlar® PRO being 100% neoprene (*Kevlar by nature doesn’t have much stretch, but what it lacks in stretch it makes up for in protection).

Nookie have used the technology used in expensive surfing suits and applied it to the waist tube of this deck to create a great seal. The neoprene waist tube is cut raw. This means the edges do not have stitched binding or trims around them. This raw edge provides complete contact against the skin or jacket which reduces flushing. All the seams on the Amp deck are glued and blindstitched, then heat taped on the waist for an absolute water barrier.
